Rapid acquisition of measurement data and their immediate processing are the main task of modern data acquisition and control systems. Measurement data acquisition cards can be installed in PCs . Since the USB standard gets very popular, this interface found its way into the PC-based data acquisition using external modules with USB connectivity. Thus, modern notebooks can be used for data collection purposes. We use measurement modules and GPIB interfaces from Keithley. The real-time systems see the separate section „Realtime-Measuring Systems“ from Jäger / ADWin.
